smart kids resell their meeting for up to 200 euros, centers exasperated, “our reputation is at stake”

Philippe Bernard, administrative director of AIBV, a technical control which operates several stations in Hainaut and the Brussels region, is exasperated.

“Merchants in the Charleroi region (garage owners, vehicle salesmen, etc.) make several appointments at the same time and then resell them to each other or to third parties via social networks. These meetings, which are free at the start, sell for 50 euros (at least that’s the rates I saw on Facebook) but I heard that it might go up to 200 euros
! We are fed up ! Our reputation is at stake. The message I want to convey here is the following: our appointments are free ”.

For the boss of AIBV, it was the Covid that gave the idea
: “Some have made it their business”

Here is how the technical control stations intend to counter this phenomenon
