Honor unveiled the Honor GS 3, the new generation of its smartwatch, during a press conference held by the company today, Monday, to announce its new flagship, Honor Magic V, the first foldable phone from the Chinese company.
Honor had revealed the first teaser image of the new generation of watches with the middle of last year 2021, and rumors spread at the time that it would come with the last quarter of the year, but it seems that the company preferred to announce it with a new year.
The company confirmed that there are improvements in the new generation of its smart watches, following the problems that appeared on the previous generation, especially in the issue of positioning.

In the beginning, the design of the watch, where the screen is made of three-dimensional glass with edges with a relative curvature to overlap with the structure made of strong stainless steel, with a leather or rubber frame for the sporty option.
The watch body is 45.9 mm in diameter, made of 316L stainless steel, with a thickness of 10.5 mm, and a weight of 44 grams.
At the top appears a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, giving a pixel density of 326 units per inch, meaning a screen that displays content with a resolution very similar to the screen of a flagship phone.
From below, there are sensors, and what has been improved most is the heart rate reading sensor, which has risen to an accuracy of 97% at worst, and there is a sensor measuring blood oxygen around the clock, as well as monitoring sleep quality.
The watch has a smart health system, Honor Health 5th generation, which can collect data through sensors and provide tips to improve health and sleep quality through more than 200 suggestions.
In the case of movement outside the house, the new honor Watch GS 3 comes with an improvement in positioning with dual frequencies to know movement and acceleration with great accuracy, as the company says in this regard that it is an improvement of 167% over the previous generation, which was known to have problems in this aspect.
It also offers many programs to encourage the user to exercise, as it has more than 100 programs for different people, including 10 professional programs for athletes.
The rest of the sensors are default like; Positioning, accelerometer, barometric pressure measurement, ambient light detection, and compass.
Honor GS 3 watch price
The watch comes with a 451 mAh battery, and the company says that it can work up to 14 days of simple use and up to 30 hours of using all sensors at the same time, while the company confirms that the watch needs less than an hour to charge 100% of the battery.
The company is scheduled to start putting the watch on the market as of this January, provided that it will be in China and then enter other markets around the world, and it will be available at a price of approximately $ 200, which is another advantage per hour.
