American comedian Bob Saget, best known for his role in the sitcom Home party, in the 1980s and 1990s, was found dead in a Florida hotel room, local police said on Sunday.
Police were called to the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando “About an unconscious man in a hotel room” and “The man was identified as Robert Saget and declared dead on the spot”, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office tweeted. “No sign of crime or drug use” was not found, he says.
Bob Saget, 65, rose to fame playing Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three daughters, whose twins played by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, in the soap opera Home party. The sitcom, which aired from 1987 to 1995, was the subject of a sequel on Netflix between 2016 and 2020, focusing on one of the girls, DJ Tanner.
