The problem for him to continue was the salary reduction that Olympia proposed. “Checho” accepted a maximum of 35% discount, but the club had asked him for half, something that for him was already a lot and that had to be added a debt of almost eight months’ salary, plus outstanding prizes to be paid.
Finally, the directors agreed with the Colombian defender, there is an agreement for the payment of the debt and the love between Otálvaro and Olimpia extended for another year.
