ATLANTA, Georgia. – A family of Mexican origin in Georgia mourns the death of José Luis Badillo, 50, and his son Alejandro Badillo, 16, who died in the last days of 2021 in an accident in Alabama.
“Thank you for saying goodbye to me”, published this week Vicky Badillo, Alejandro’s sister. The message was given because days before his death, Alejandro Badillo sent a video message to Vicky in which he sent her a hug and said: “See you soon, in the next print run.”
The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, December 28, when they collided on Interstate 65 in Lowdes County.
The accident occurred when the vehicle in which the father and son were traveling struck the back of a truck with a trailer that was parked on the road. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
“They were on their way to work when they collided with a trailer and died on impact. Neither felt pain. My dad, José Luis Badillo, was loud and loving and made sure everyone was happy. My brother, Alejandro Badillo, was the life of the party and super smart. They were loved by all and we will miss them deeply ”, published the family on a fundraising page of Go Fund Me.
Farewell to the family
The Jonesboro family reported that rosaries will be held this week in honor of José Badillo and Alejandro Badillo.
In addition, and informed that the mass will take place on January 7 at the San Felipe church at 4:00 pm.
The two will be buried in El Jabalí, in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí.
