Today (Saturday), the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, reviewed the developments in the situation of the pandemic in the Kingdom at the present time.
He stressed, during his meeting on the “An-Nahar” program on the “Al-Ekhbariya” channel, that in the coming days, a campaign to immunize children will begin, noting that all vaccines approved in the Kingdom are of high safety, especially since the concerned authorities have ensured their safety, and started giving them. He added that it is too early to talk regarding adding a fourth dose, especially since this is being studied by experts and specialists, stressing that no doses will be given until it is scientifically proven to be important to society.
With regard to the high number of cases during the current period, Al-Abd Al-Aali stressed that it is unfortunate that most critical cases are for people who have not completed the vaccine doses, noting that the number of critical cases is not commensurate with the large increase in the number of injuries, which represents one of the fruits of the expansion in giving Coronavirus vaccines.
