A lorry carrying the remains of three firefighters is saluted by colleagues as they enter the front of the rescue team.

The late Hyeong-seok Lee, Park Soo-dong, and Jo Woo-chan were firefighters.

Every time they go out, the lockers where they would have picked up their equipment are erected to catch the steps of the bereaved.

I wonder if there will be any traces of my father that I can’t see anymore, and I hurried my steps to say goodbye.

In the rescue team’s office, only notebooks and cups stained with his son’s hands are scattered.

The father of firefighter Jo Woo-chan, who struggled to hold back his tears, eventually collapsed.
