Regret it too late.. She put poison to her husband in “honey pie” and he died as a child

Her material ambition and excessive greed, along with treason, things that led her to life imprisonment

A traitorous wife tried to get rid of her husband and put poison in a pie, but the victim was her two children, who ate from the pie and died instantly.

The story was published by the Egyptian newspaper Akhbar Al-Youm on January 15, 1966. It began with a girl in one of the governorates of Upper Egypt who was 18 years old, and she dreams of a groom who fills her life with happiness, and her happiness is material matters.

The girl refused every young man of her age who came to her and agreed to a rich man, despite the fact that he was 55 years old and the objection of those around her, and she married him and bore him two children, and her husband showered her without account, but despite that she was not happy, she was living with him without a heart, so she grew up between her and server relationship.

The husband noticed some of his wife’s strange behavior and changed her way, so he began to narrow her behavior and prevent her from everything she asked, and prevented her from going out as well, so the wife decided, in agreement with the servant, to get rid of her elderly husband.

The plan was to convince her husband that she had changed, and instructed the servant to ask her husband for leave so that he might travel to visit his family, and on the evening of the same day she made Unleavened Meshaltet; Because the husband is a fan of unleavened bread, and she convinces him that she has changed for him.

Indeed, the wife made the unleavened bread and left it on the table with cream and honey, but she mixed honey with arsenic and went to sleep a little until the husband comes from his work and implements her plan. Complete and presented to the prosecution and sentenced her and the servant to life.
