The next month start vaccination once morest Covid-19 for 3-year-olds throughout the Ecuador. This was announced today at a national press conference by the Minister of Public Health, Ximena Garzón.
The exact dates and other details for the immunization process for this age group will be announced soon, Garzón said at the same time that, as a novelty, he said that a increase in infections in children from 0 to 4 yearss and 5 to 12 years.
“This age group is the one that has been immunized the least, they do not have the coronavirus vaccine, that is why they have been infected. However, we do not register mortality in children ”, said the Minister of Health.

Today during the press conference of the National COE it was also announced that classes have been suspended with regard to the tax system. I know classes will be suspended from January 10 to 16 for a vaccination day in this sector: the students and the third dose for the teachers.
“It is not a vacation, if not a suspension to go to get vaccinated. Starting today, January 7, teachers can appear at inoculation points throughout the country and get the booster dose.

Garzón announced that the obligation of a license in public transport will be one of the measures to be announced by the National COE. Currently, the country is vaccinating the population 50 years of age and older with a third booster dose.
