Due to the strong increase in Covid-19 infections in recent days, the Chaco government established the mandatory nature of a PCR diagnosis with negative result for all people who want to enter the province. The measure came into effect today Thursday and, for now, will apply only to people over 18 years of age.
The announcement was made by the governor Jorge Capitanich, who through Twitter gave the details of the requirement to enter the province and once more set the mandatory use of the chinstrap.
Decree 3 of 2022 issued by the Chaco Executive Power says that Any person over 18 years of age who wishes to enter the province Must prove a PCR RT diagnostic test performed 24 to 72 hours prior to admission. Or, present a negative rapid test done 24 hours before arrival in the territory.
The decision to require a PCR to enter the province it was not the only measure announced to stop the increase in coronavirus cases in that province, as is the case throughout the country. Some of them are the following:

- The Masks or chinstraps will be mandatory in outdoor activities, activities in closed spaces, customer service offices and public passenger transport units
Before entering an activity or event with high epidemiological risk, everyone over 13 years of age must prove a complete vaccination scheme once morest covid-19 applied at least 14 days before.

For its part, the Ministry of Security of Chaco will install police control, intervention of municipal inspectors, among other issues in order to guarantee the performance of activities with reduction of epidemiological risk.
In addition, in the same way that the new requirements were defined, the exceptions. The obligations will not apply in the following cases:
- People who prove the need to enter through Medical treatments, of high complexity, emergencies or with scheduled shifts.
- People affected by health services and security forces in compliance with its functions.
- People in transit. Basically those who work in means of transport, construction, timber industry, forestry, primary production and logistics.
- Those who accredit work in distant neighboring cities yetor more than 100 kilometers and / or who must carry out essential procedures or who remain outside the province for less than 72 hours.
Regarding transport, the Undersecretariat will provide the actions and procedures to be adopted in order to ensure compliance with the requirements for entering the province by users at the time of approaching the means of transport used, whatever its modality.
