The director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Douglas Rico, announced the dismissal of the heads of the Valdez municipality delegation in Güiria, Sucre state.
“Two detectives (now detained) take the lives of 41-year-old Yormaris Del Valle Rodríguez Pérez and 55-year-old Leonides María Molina Busaniche, moments when they were under the influence of alcohol,” he added.
Rico condemned these events “isolated to our work to protect and care for our people.”
“In the face of bad police practices, we will be implacable with all those who insult and transgress the good work of the Cicpc,” he added.
