Led Double infection with corona virus and influenza Recently, in Israel, the term Florona has appeared, the hearing of which has become a kind of new tension.
That sparked concern during the winter months elsewhere as flu cases rose. But scientists who reported the rare case of a young woman said her symptoms were mild, according to The Sun.
Many are concerned by several Questions regarding Florona, the most important of which are its symptomsWhat are the common symptoms that confirm infection with the double virus?

Florona is actually caused by both the coronavirus and the flu. Influenza levels have remained low globally since the start of the Corona epidemic, due to a lack of social mixing. But this winter, as life returns to normal in more countries during the colder months, there is a greater chance that flu infections will be higher.
This is coupled with the rapid spread of the omicron around the world. Although it is milder and can be overcome with vaccines, this means that more double infections are likely to arise as well.
A young Israeli woman – who is pregnant and did not receive the vaccine – developed mild symptoms when she was tested in hospital. Experts in Israel claim that others have also contracted the two viruses, but have not yet been diagnosed.

Cases are starting to appear
For his part, Professor Arnon Wiesnetzer, director of the department of gynecology at a hospital, said that in the past year, we have not seen cases of influenza among pregnant women or during childbirth. Today, there are cases of coronavirus and influenza starting to appear. We’re seeing more and more pregnant women with influenza… It’s definitely a big challenge dealing with a woman who has a fever at childbirth.”
“This is especially so when you don’t know if it’s the coronavirus or the flu, so you refer to them the same. Most of the symptoms are respiratory,” he explained.
Professor Wiesnetzer said that the Israeli patient did not have any severe or unusual symptoms.
He added that she was diagnosed with influenza and the Corona virus upon her arrival, and continued: “Both tests came positive.. the disease is the same; it causes difficulty breathing because both viruses attack the upper respiratory tract.”
Israel’s Health Ministry said it was studying the case to determine whether the combination of infection might cause more serious illness.
But so far the woman has responded well to doctors and has experienced only mild symptoms.
