Hello everyone.

This is the scene of the inauguration ceremony of the People’s Power Election Task Force on December 6th.

After just one month, this election committee was disbanded, and candidate Yoon Seok-yeol and former president Kim Jong-in, who had met each other, broke up.

It is said that the election will be held as the only candidate-centered leader Yoon Seok-yeol, without Chairman Kim or Chairman Lee Jun-seok.

It remains to be seen whether this decision will be an expensive painkiller or a bad news for the presidential campaign two months away.

First, reporter Shin Soo-ah reports.

People’s Power Candidate Yun Seok-yeol, who had been pondering the plan to reorganize the election committee proposed by former general election chairman Kim Jong-in, eventually declared a breakup with former chairman Kim and disbanded the election committee.

“As of today, the Election Countermeasures Committee will be dissolved. It was called Mammoth … and acknowledging the mistakes of the election campaign so far…”

Candidate Yoon appointed a four-term representative Kwon Young-se as the head of the fleet headquarters instead of former Chairman Kim Jong-in, saying that he would drastically reduce the existing bloated election committee and make it a practical-type fleet headquarters.

Regarding the reason for the breakup with former Chairman Kim, he did not give an immediate answer, only saying, “It was a choice to go into a working-level organization.”

The candidate also replied that Kim’s remarks that ‘all you need to do is act’ were not meant to belittle the candidate.

In today’s interview, Candidate Yoon actively appealed to the 2030 vote and explained that he would lead the fleet headquarters with talented young working-level staff.

“In particular, I promise to deeply reflect on my actions that have disappointed the 2030 generation and show a completely different side of me.”

Regarding Lee Jun-seok, who is in conflict with him, he said that he expects him to contribute to the election victory as party leader.

“As long as you play a role as the party representative, the election campaign doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to have a position at the Central Election Headquarters.”

Previously, Secretary-General Kwon Seong-dong and Rep. Yoon Han-hong, who were close aides to Yoon, resigned from both party and previous positions, and Yoon emphasized that there would be no more problems with aides.

Regarding the discussion of unification with Candidate Ahn Cheol-soo for a rebound in approval ratings, there was a reaction that did not fit politically in a situation where they were running an election campaign.
