Al-Marsad newspaper: A documentary video clip published by the King Abdul Aziz House revealed who the “Khouya” are, who we see in royal photos and news bulletins, wielding swords and daggers, and always holding rifles towards the ground, in special civilian clothes.

They are characterized by redemption and brotherhood
The documentary explained their specialties, how they were chosen, and even the shape of their clothes. They are employees of the royal court and are characterized by sacrifice, brotherhood, sincerity and dedication.
The documentary also confirmed that the Khoya are carrying out service and security tasks for the king, noting that they are a popular heritage from the Arabian Peninsula, which the kings of Saudi Arabia still preserve.
