Actor Lee Jae-eun announced the success of losing 30 kg and confessed to a difficult time due to depression and social phobia.
On the 3rd, on the YouTube channel ‘Recent Olympics’, ‘Recently successful in losing 30kg! A video titled ‘The National Sister of the 1990s’ was posted.
In the video, when asked, “How have you been?”, actor Lee Jae-eun said, “I haven’t been out for regarding a year.” He said, “I was half-forced at home because of the situation, but I took a good opportunity to shoot a commercial for kitchenware.”
Jae-eun Lee answered with a smile, “I have lost weight since then, but when I talked regarding ‘diet model’, I was ranked 0.”
When asked, “When did you gain the most?” Jae-eun Lee replied, “80 kg?
When the host asked, “How did you lose weight?” Lee Jae-eun explained the reason, “My mother told me that I was still young and pretty, so I think I went on a diet storm following hearing that.”
Jae-eun Lee said, “When I appeared in the movie ‘Yellow Hair’, there were a lot of reactions that were shocking.” He said, “I thought, ‘Why is this shocking?'” The host explained, “I think it was probably more shocking that Lee Jae-eun was imprinted on the public as a child and then attempted a radical transformation.”
Then, Jae-eun Lee said, “I got married at the age of 26. I wanted to raise my children while raising my own family and supporting my husband.” He said, “I gave up my acting career and got married, so there was a sense of separation from reality. I also had depression and developed a phobia.” He shared his difficult feelings.
Jae-eun Lee said, “I didn’t want to be seen by people, so I only went out for regarding a year.
Breathing didn’t seem to be breathing, and it didn’t seem to be healthy either physically or mentally.”
Lee Jae-eun debuted as a child actor in the 1986 KBS drama ‘Land’ and gained great popularity by appearing in various works. In 1999, she won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Actress for her role in the movie ‘Yellow Hair’. Lee Jae-eun married choreographer Lee Kyung-soo 9 years older than her in 2006, but divorced in 2017.
