The value of accessing the public transport service in the capital of Antioquia increased $ 150, so the new rate was $ 2,550 for urban routes and $ 2,650 for townships, This was pointed out by Víctor Hugo Piedrahíta, technical undersecretary of the Ministry of Mobility.

Rates on routes of townships

The Ministry of Mobility indicated that the authorized rates for the routes that cross the townships of Medellín they were as follows:

San Cristobal

The routes San Cristóbal – San Javier La Loma – Centro; San Cristóbal – La Asomadera – Downtown; San Cristóbal – Doña María; Las Flores – Moravia – Center; New West – Las Flores; New West – Tyrol; Y San Cristóbal – Road connection, now has a value of $ 2,550.

While the paths El Llano – Parque de San Cristóbal were worth $ 2,200; and El Llano – Centro, $ 2,700.

New taxi rates

“After two years without updating the rate for individual public transport in the city, the Ministry of Mobility managed, in consultation with all the actors of individual public transport, to update the rate for next year”, assured Víctor Piedrahíta, Technical Undersecretary of Mobility.

Taxi drivers must pay the transit rights on behalf of the Ministry of Mobility of Medellín, perform the calibration of the taximeter and its inspection. For this they have until March 1 to carry out the process of updating the rate through the calibration of the taximeter.

After the above, in authorized sites, a sticker that goes on the panoramic glass and a security seal on the taximeter will be installed, which indicates that the vehicle is authorized to collect the new rate.
