Until then, the time between the booster dose and the previous dose to keep his pass was seven months maximum. And this obligation only applies for the moment to those over 65 years of age.

From February 15, third dose four months following the last injection

It will extend to everyone over 18 from January 15. One month later, the deadline will therefore drop to 4 months. “We have decided to change these rules, but leaving everyone the time to make their reminder: from February 15, it will take four months – and no longer seven – following your second dose to have a vaccination schedule. full. And I would like to point out that, in this course, an infection will always be equivalent to an injection. This means that a person who has his two doses has not yet been recalled but was recently infected with the coronavirus meets the conditions set, ”said the Minister.

According to Olivier Véran, with the opening of the booster just three months following the second dose, 45 million French people are eligible. About 25 million have already received their recall according to the ministry’s report on January 2.
