Beth Phoenix made a spectacular return at WWE Day 1, assisting Edge in conquering The Miz.
The Hall of Famer aided her spouse on Saturday evening, evening the score in his match against the A-Lister, whose wife Maryse actively interfered.
Following another incident that angered the Atlanta audience, the Glamazon emerged; her theme music blared as she strode to the stage, creating a diversion.
This left The Miz vulnerable to a spear, resulting in a victory for the Rated R superstar, who had already captivated the crowd with his Brood-inspired entrance.
Fans now anticipate a mixed tag team bout between the two real-life couples; the storyline is ready-made, and the four wrestlers possess ample talent to deliver an exceptional match.
Whether this showdown occurs at WrestleMania 38 or the next Saudi Arabia event remains uncertain, but the timing seems auspicious.
Phoenix served as an NXT commentator for two years before departing after last month’s War Games event.
She tweeted: “Before WarGames, I announced that this Sunday would be my last night on NXT. While remaining with WWE, I opted to step away from the weekly broadcast to prioritize family time.
“This wasn’t easy, given my three-plus years and 135 episodes with NXT; I’m hugely proud of the brand. “

Beth acknowledged her broadcasting colleagues, including NXT leaders Triple H and Shawn Michaels, and the entire team.
She added: “My gratitude goes to Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett, Nigel McGuinness, Tom Phillips, Mauro Ranallo, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Michael Cole and my entire NXT family, both on and off-screen, for this amazing opportunity.
“NXT will always hold a special place in my heart, and Aunt Betty will always be a part of NXT. Keep a light on for me! ‘
