Prince Andrew was close friends with both of them.
It is not looking good for Prince Andrew (61): A few days before a hearing on allegations of abuse once morest the Duke of York, the lawyers of the plaintiff Virginia Giuffre (38) asked for answers to very personal questions. According to several British media outlets, the son of Queen Elizabeth II (95) should present evidence of his “inability to sweat,” said Giuffre’s representatives. As it turns out, Andrew can’t.
A hearing is scheduled for January 4th in New York at which Andrew’s lawyers will demand that Giuffre’s lawsuit for damages be dropped. She testifies that she met Andrew in 2001 when she was 17 in a London star club, where he was sweating profusely. Then Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019) and his ex-partner Ghislaine Maxwell (60) forced her to have sex with the prince. The New York jury condemned Maxwell. She has appealed once morest it.

Andrew denies the allegations
Andrew denies the allegations. In a November 2019 BBC interview, the Royal said he mightn’t sweat at all. The reason is a special illness: During the Falklands War in 1982, he poured out an overdose of adrenaline when he was shot. Andrew denies going to the club. On the day he visited a pizzeria in the city of Woking with his daughter Princess Beatrice (33).
Now Andrew has to cope with a setback because he cannot prove what he said. As the Daily Mail writes, his lawyers said there were “no documents in his possession, custody or control” that might support this claim. His lawyers previously rejected the opposing side’s claims as “depressing and harassing”. In their view, the New York court has no jurisdiction, partly because Giuffre is resident in Australia. Their lawyers reject that.
Up to six witnesses might testify once morest Andrew
Andrew also claimed in the past that he did not remember meeting Giuffre. Her team of lawyers also wants to refute that. Her attorney David Boies, 80, told The Sun that several people are ready to testify that the Duke and the Epstein victim met: “We have four or five or six witnesses who will bring them together. » Including Johanna Sjoberg (40), who claims that Andrew grabbed her chest while he was joking around with Giuffre in Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan with a rubber doll. Steve Scully (71), a former Epstein employee, also confirms a meeting. He saw Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre kiss on the convicted sex offender’s private island.
Then there is the picture of Andrew with his accuser. “If Prince Andrew thinks a little, he’ll understand that the idea of denying what numerous witnesses have testified, what photographs show, what flight logs prove … The idea of blaming and shaming a victim to Distracting attention from one’s own behavior doesn’t work, ”said Boies.
