Sara Marita Kramer’s supremacy in women’s ski jumping is not only evident from her victories. It becomes particularly evident when the 20-year-old from Salzburg delivers what she sees as a bad competition and barely a smile crosses her lips when she is in the run.
At the premiere of the New Year’s Eve tour in Ljubno (Slovenia), the World Cup leader’s second jump went badly in her pants. Even ski jumping amateurs saw from the shaky flight that Sara Marita Kramer did not make a good jump – and yet the five-time winner of the season ended up in second place behind the Slovenian Nika Kriznar and extended her lead in the overall World Cup.
