The Ministry of Health, through the National Institute of Genomic Medicine (Inmegen), invites students in the area of health sciences to participate in the 9th edition of the Student Meeting “From the double helix to the genomic horizon: 70 years of medical advances”, which will take place on November 23 and 24.
In the call, published on the Inmegen website inmegen.gob.mxthe requirements to participate and show the research project during the meeting are reported, which has the objective of sharing the results and contents of the research in which they collaborate.
It is necessary that those who wish to participate be students in the area of health sciences and related sciences, from Mexico or abroad from any educational institution; be enrolled in an academic program or have completed your studies no more than one year before the date of the meeting, and submit the application in the corresponding category: bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate.
Research, basic or applied science work must be related to genomic or precision medicine. To apply, you must send the summary through the form found in the 9th student meeting section, hosted on the Inmegen website.
Students whose work is selected by the scientific committee of the event will have five minutes to present it orally at the student mini-symposium or in scientific poster format.
November 6 is the deadline for registration and receipt of works; On November 13, the selection of those who will be presented at the 9th Student Meeting “From the double helix to the genomic horizon: 70 years of medical advances” will be carried out, which will be in person at the Inmegen facilities.
