According to the statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), a motorcycle rider blew himself up near an army convoy in Janikhel area of Bannu, as a result of which 9 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred.
According to ISPR, Naib Subedar Sanobar Ali is also among those martyred as a result of the suicide attack, while 5 young men were also injured as a result of the attack, who have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
The statement further said that the security forces have encircled the area and started a search operation. The security forces are determined to end the menace of terrorism.
