8th edition of the Rendez-vous des assurances: Sustainability and expansion of health coverage at the heart of the 8th edition

Casablanca is preparing to host the 8th edition of the Rendez-vous des assurances.

This flagship event in Africa, which is held as usual in mainland France, is an opportunity for market players to discuss the challenges and prospects of their business. The theme chosen for this 8th edition, scheduled for March 23 and 24, is none other than sustainable insurance and the extension of health coverage. A topical subject that is essential in this particular economic context. In this regard, national and international experts will share their experiences and contribute to the reflection on this theme.

Major international experts are expected to share their experiences and contribute to the reflection around the theme “Sustainable insurance and expansion of health coverage”. On the menu of this scientific event, organized by the Moroccan Federation of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (FMSAR): a plenary, 7 panels led by players in the transformation of the sector on the challenges to be met by insurance professionals in the current global situation and on the future of insurance in Africa as well as 6 keynote speakers who will speak on current topics.

Among the expected speakers we note Don Forgeron, president of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA), Florence Lustman, president of France Assureurs, Susan Neely, president and CEO of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), Petra Hielkema, President of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), Philippe Dessertine, economist, academic and director of the Institute of High Finance in Paris, and Michaela Koller, Managing Director of Insurance Europe.
