The new infection toll brings the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020 to 1,165,455, while the number of recovered people has increased to 1,148,928, i.e. a recovery rate of 98, 6%.
The new cases of infection have been identified in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (47), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (15), Marrakech-Safi (10), Fez-Meknes (06), Oriental (04), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (02), Souss-Massa (02), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (01) and Draâ-Tafilalet (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,071 (lethality 1.4%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
There are 456 active cases, while only one severe case has been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 15. As for the occupancy rate of intensive care beds, it is 0.3%.
