A total of 88.3 percent of the offline exhibition area scheduled for the China International Trade in Services Fair (CIFTIS) 2022 has been booked, according to event organizers.
More than 1,000 companies, including 275 Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading companies, have confirmed their online and offline participation in the event, according to Zhao Qizhou, deputy head of the executive committee office of CIFTIS.
Zhao said 25 countries and six international organizations will participate in the expo.
This year, the event will have a total exhibition area of 152,000 square meters, an increase of 26,000 square meters, according to Zhou Yiwei, general manager of Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events.
The fair is scheduled to be held in Beijing from August 31 to September 5. It will include the global services trade summit, exhibitions, forums, new product and technology launches, business promotions and discussions, and supporting activities.
For the first time, the event will have a section devoted to environmental services. The section will showcase new environmental, green and energy-saving technologies and applications that can help China achieve its peak carbon and carbon neutrality goals, Zhao said. End
