85% of high school graduates already have their majors assigned

A total of 360 thousand 333 Bachelors were registered in the National Admission System (SNI) indicated the Ministry of University Education, of which 275 thousand 870, 85.46%, have already been assigned to continue their studies

The information was provided by the ministerial entity when announcing the results of applicants for university courses in a first phase of assignments of study opportunities for the period 2024, which will allow young graduates to pursue university studies free of charge.

Regarding the gender of the assigned graduates, the Ministry specified that this year, 55.33% are women and 44.67% are men, opening up a space of opportunities for all.
In the second phase of assignments, study opportunities will be determined for the 14.54% of the pending percentage of applicants.

High school graduates can consult study opportunities

“The first phase of Study Opportunity Allocation Results begins. Start your roadmap to free, inclusive, quality and relevant university education!” the Ministry posted on its social media.

To check the results, you must access the website https://sni.opsu.gob.ve, enter your personal data and click on “Results” to see if you were assigned, the publication stated.
In addition, it was indicated that if the graduate is on the waiting list, he or she will be able to modify his or her study options for the second phase of assignment.

The SNI is a free process and an essential requirement for students in their final year of General Secondary Education, Technical Secondary Education, Young Adult and Adult Education, INCES and Misión Ribas; as well as high school graduates from previous years who wish to enroll in a university education institution in the country, whether public or private.
