83% of published documents are false

This Friday, August 9, 2024, President Nicolás Maduro attended the summons of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ).

In this regard, the Head of State indicated that he responded to the questioning that was legally put to him. “I have not shied away from any question from the judges, magistrates, in this historic electoral contentious resource contained in this Constitution,” he said.

He also recalled that a candidate refused to comply with justice, and that he did not “face justice,” referring to Edmundo González.

He also said that 83% of the documents published on an opposition website as minutes “are false.”

He reiterated that these documents were published with the consent of Edmundo González and are false.

Maduro also described the absence of former presidential candidate González Urrutia as “scandalous.”
