82-foot aquarium burst; 10 lakh liters of water and 1500 fish in the hotel Social Media | Fish

The Aqua Dome in Berlin, Germany, which has the reputation of being the world’s largest cylindrical (long circular) aquarium, has exploded. The 25 m (82 ft) tall aquarium system housed over 1,500 fish in 50 categories.

This aquarium was located in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin. Water from the aquarium has flowed outside into the street. After the aquarium burst and water came out, more than 100 fire rescue teams have reached the spot. The interior of the hotel sustained significant damage.

The Aquadome was opened in 2004. The cost was 12.8 million euros. Aquadome was built by a US company. The aquarium is 11 meters (36 ft) wide and 16 meters (52 ft) high. The aquarium is mounted on a nine meter (30 ft) high foundation. 10 lakh liters of water was filled.
