Malmö FF has played in the qualifiers
to the big competition
Champions League in football.

Malmö was close to walking
till Champions League.
But in the last few games
things went worse for the team.

Last week Malmö lost
with 2–0 against Sparta Prague from the Czech Republic.
On Tuesday night they lost
against the same team again.
It was 2-0 to Sparta Prague again.
The match was in the Czech Republic
the capital Prague.

Malmö’s players were
very disappointed after the match

– It was a difficult match.
We didn’t score on our chances,
says star Isaac Kiese Thelin.

If Malmö had qualified
had they made a lot of money.
The teams that play in the Champions League
receives at least SEK 200 million.

Now Malmö FF gets to play instead
in the Europa League competition this autumn.
Then they also make a lot of money.
At least SEK 100 million.

Also Elfsborg from Borås
have the chance to join
i Europa League.
They haven’t finished playing
his qualification yet.
