The UFC Que Choisir has studied nearly 14,000 products from organic or conventional agriculture. The results are rather worrying, knowing that 150 substances found are suspected of being carcinogenic, endocrine disruptors or simply toxic. Among the foods most affected by pesticides, we find fruits and vegetables, but also flour or coffee.
On the other hand, products from organic farming are less affected by contamination because pesticides are prohibited in this mode of production.
