The National Judicial Police Brigade referred, yesterday Saturday, eight people, including a woman and the owner of a private clinic in Casablanca, to the competent prosecutor’s office near the Casablanca Court of Appeal. They are suspected of being involved in a case of fraud and falsification of medical bills.
Numerous searches and investigations carried out by the police services led to the arrest of the main suspect, who was involved in the establishment of inflated estimates and invoices to collect funds from donors and to provide care to so-called patients in the need.
The 8 suspects were brought to justice on Saturday. 5 of them will be prosecuted under arrest.
