The number of hospitalizations related to COVID-19 has remained relatively stable in Quebec over the past 24 hours, with one new patient occupying a hospital bed.

A total of 2,345 Quebecers are hospitalized according to Monday’s report. The number of people in intensive care has fallen slightly (86, -4) since the previous day, while eight more deaths have been reported.
Public Health also identified 1,305 new cases among people with access to screening centers, while 441 positive tests were self-reported during the day on Sunday.
In addition, 9,362 healthcare workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19 (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.).

On the Ontario side, 93 more people were hospitalized due to the virus, for a total of 1,455. An increase was also reported in intensive care (219, +7).
