The Whale

It’s often during the Venice Film Festival that the first rumors about the Oscars surface. And if we trust the first echoes of the performance of Brendan Fraser in this new film by Darren Aronofsky (The black swan), it’s a safe bet that his name will end up at the top of the list of first contenders for the Oscar for best actor. Fraser is unrecognizable as a morbidly obese man.
