As the police said, the 73-year-old, her 67-year-old brother and his wife took a break in the parking lot on the way from Bosnia to Switzerland. The woman went to the toilet and when she came back the car was gone. A man called the police about a “distressed older lady without a jacket.”
According to the information, the brother did not notice that his sister had left the vehicle. It was only shortly before Zurich that the couple noticed that the 73-year-old was no longer in the car. The brother immediately drove back to the Swabian district of Unterallgäu. After around four hours, the siblings were reunited at the police station and continued their journey.
