Al-Marsad newspaper: For 45 years, 70-year-old Chinese man Zhou Heping has been following a “daily exercise” regime, which has made him look like a young man in his twenties.

Zhou Heping said that he makes sure to “get water every day while exercising, as he carries a 5.2-gallon jug with him when he goes for a run,” according to what the South China Morning Post reported.

He explained that he completes his strenuous “daily routine” at 5:30 a.m., before going to work at 8 a.m.

“Life is all regarding running, and the most important thing is to exercise, keep fit, and develop a good lifestyle,” he stressed.

Heping’s love for running began in 1979, when he read regarding the benefits of the sport in a magazine. The Chinese man is 70 years old, but he climbs a 2,200-foot mountain with ease.

Now his regimen includes weight-pulling exercises, pole climbing, and handstands, and the frog jumps more than 2,500 steps from the base of Mount Jeli to the summit in one hour, and crawls back down like a crocodile within 50 minutes, according to what the Chinese newspaper reported.

Zhou Heping, from the city of Chongqing in southwest China, emphasized that: “Crawling does not hurt the knees, but it trains the coordination of the limbs.”

He revealed the secret of his success, which is “avoiding alcohol and cigarettes for 4 decades, and going to bed early,” while social media users praised his amazing fitness.
