Seven people were bitten by papatti in Kuzhalmandam Kannanur Pudukode Shivkshetra premises. Ravindran (63) of Kannanur Melepura, Chakalakalaparam Sivan (38), Chidambaranath (40) of Thekinkad, Thayankotupura Vilasini (50), Nandan (33), Kanakalatha (39) and Chandran (40) of Pudukkode Nanathukalam sought treatment at the district hospital. They were walking on the road and were bitten by papatti. In the last two days, many people have been bitten by papatti and people are panicking.
