7 Activision Blizzard Games We Want On Game Pass

If Microsoft’s acquisition of Blizzard shocked many, Phil Spencer plans to include games from the studio in the Game Pass subscription.

While no specific title was specified, Spencer wrote on Xbox Wire that there are plenty of games on their way to Microsoft’s service. Here are a few that we think deserve to be there.

Overwatch

This is Blizzard’s newest game, so it’s most likely to end up in the Game Pass catalog. Available as a standalone title on platforms Xbox, it’s a great way to attract new players to the service. The shooting game tells a neo-futuristic war between robots and humans.

World of Warcraft

Even though this Blizzard franchise dating back to 2004 seems outdated today, it could use a refresh on Game Pass. This will be a great opportunity for players to enjoy the latest game expansions, the most recent of which is Shadowlands, released in 2020.

Surfshark

King’s Quest

King’s Quest is a classic game franchise that has enjoyed a success during the golden age of video games, in the 80s and 90s. It would be interesting to have this Blizzard title among the Game Pass catalogs, given its enormous capital and resources.

Guitar Hero

Popular in the 2000s, Blizzard’s Guitar Hero could regain its shine in Game Pass. It is one of most original arcade style party games, but also a great way to bring back the real taste of rock’n’roll.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater

This Blizzard title peaked in the 2000s, and its return to Game Pass would be explosive. His fun skating and its great soundtracks are its advantages. Microsoft will have no trouble using it to promote the service.

Pitfall !

Those who owned an Atari 2600 surely remember Pitfall!. The player takes control ofan explorer who makes discoveries like Indiana Jones. He swings on vines and jumps on the backs of crocodiles. Provided Game Pass includes this little Blizzard adventure game on its list.

True Crime : Streets of LA

This entry has squarely rivaled Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto in 2003. The first sales had exploded at the time. And even, the title has been the subject of several nominations at the Spike Video Game Awards. This would be an opportunity for Game Pass to bring life to this Blizzard title that seems buried in time.
