7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria, more than 600 people died

Strong tremors were also felt in Jordan, Syria, Cyprus and Greece. Many buildings in other countries including Turkey and Syria were turned into piles of rubble due to the earthquake. Hundreds of people are reported to be buried under the debris.

According to officials, due to the destruction of the roads by the earthquake, the relief teams are facing difficulties until they reach the affected areas.
