A trafficker of Nigerien nationality transporting Indian hemp hidden inside a vehicle was apprehended earlier this week at the Sabon Birni border post in the commune of Tounouga, department of Gaya (Niger).
69 bricks of Indian hemp hidden inside a vehicle through the doors, trunks and chairs were seized at the Sabon Birni border post in the commune of Tounouga department of Gaya (Niger) at the beginning of the week by the Nigerian police.
The trafficker, Mr. A. Muslim indicates that he left Bodjecali, a border town of the commune of Malanville in Benin to go to Nigeria.
According to the Nigerien authorities, the drugs seized are estimated at more than four (04) million CFA francs.
The trafficker claims not to be at his first shot.
It should be recalled that the Nigerian police boarded a Kasea 125 brand motorcycle last week carrying 137 bricks of Indian hemp with a total weight of 125 kg.
