A 68-year-old Belgian drowned in the sea at Muscleres beach, Costa Brava, Spain.

A witness had warned the emergency services that an unconscious body was floating on the sea. They did everything to save the Belgian holidaymaker but the latter died on the spot.
The Nieuwsblad specifies that swimming was authorized by a green flag, displayed on the beach and that the rescuers were present.
