Nobuo Tanaka (63) from Urakawa Town, Hokkaido, was arrested by the Hokkaido Urakawa Police Station on the 8th for allegedly attempting forced sexual intercourse. The incident occurred around 4:45 pm on the same day, when Tanaka pulled the arm of a woman in her 50s on a street in Urakawa-cho, attempting to have sex with her.
The police stated that Tanaka attacked the woman from behind and dragged her into the grass to commit the crime. A passing woman heard the victim’s screams and immediately called the police by dialing 110, leading to Tanaka’s arrest.
During interrogation, Tanaka admitted to the allegations, stating, “I couldn’t suppress my desire.” He had previously been arrested on the 4th of this month for allegedly assaulting a 99-year-old female inpatient by removing her trousers at a hospital in Urakawa-cho. However, he was released later.
Tanaka is suspected of trying to have sex by pulling the arm of a woman in her 50s on the street of Urakawa-cho around 4:45 pm on the 8th.
According to the police, Tanaka attacked a passing woman from behind and dragged her into the grass to commit the crime.
A woman passing by called 110, saying, “A woman is screaming.” Police officers rushed to arrest Tanaka.
