However, the man refused to cooperate and tried to obstruct the FEHD staff from performing their duties. During this period, he became more emotional and pushed the FEHD staff to the planter. During the chaos, passers-by once thought there was a robbery, stepped forward to help subdue the man, and called the police for help.
FEHD female staff suffered head injuries and sent to hospital conscious
The police said that a 66-year-old man surnamed Liao was arrested on suspicion of assault causing bodily harm and obstructing a public official from performing his duties. As for the head injury of the female staff member of the FEHD who was attacked, she was conscious and sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment. The case was handed over to the Fifth Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of the Tseung Kwan O Police District for further follow-up.
