6-year-old boy run over and left injured in Sonora

HERMOSILLO.- The State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) started an investigation file to identify the person who was driving a vehicle that ran over a six-year-old boy of age and he ran awayabandoning him wounded.

The minor, identified as Said, was run over at 7:42 p.m. on Monday, August 26 at the intersection of Sierra de las Huertas and Cerro del Centinela, in the Solidaridad neighborhood. Immediately, the people who helped him made a report to the 9-1-1 emergency service. In addition, help was requested through social networks to locate his parents.

The Head of the Preventive Police and Municipal Traffic reported that The child suffered abrasions on his face and bodyHe also reported severe pain in his left arm.

Child hit and run in Hermosillo under investigation

Following the events, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE), through the staff of the Early Care Center (CAT), opened an investigation file to identify the person who ran over the child on the streets of northern Hermosillo, leaving him abandoned after fleeing in the vehicle he was driving.

The investigation includes an interview with the mother of the affected child; they are also looking for video images that they have captured the incident.

The boy received medical attention and has minor injuries that do not put his life at risk.

On social media, some people who said they were witnesses of the events point out how responsible for a woman who was driving a white Sentra, approximately 2004 model.
