Today, March 26, 2022, an earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale was recorded with its epicenter in the Province of Esmeraldas at 23:31:44
Once the technical analyzes were carried out, through all the sensors that allow verifying the state of the sea level, the INOCAR Navy Oceanographic Institute determined that the characteristics for a tsunami warning do NOT exist.

The tremor was reported by users in Pichincha, Manabí and nearby provinces. So far (23h47).
Citizens in Esmeraldas reported a power outage during the 6.0 earthquake that surprised this Saturday night.
It is recommended to remain calm.
Several people left their homes during the tremor
From Esmeraldas areas without electricity are reported. The same in atacames, people are already in safe areas and outside their homes.
