Coronavirus in the last 24 hours: 59 deaths and 6,474 new infections reported

Another 59 people died and 6,474 were reported with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Argentinawhich adds up to 126,901 deaths officially registered at the national level and 8,949,362 those infected since the start of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health reported today.

The health portfolio indicated that there are 961 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care unitswith a percentage of adult bed occupancy of 39.1% in the country and 39.7% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA).

Of the total of those infected, 8,749,376 have already been discharged, while 73,085 remain active, according to the Health portfolio.

In the last 24 hours, 53,780 tests were carried outbringing the total number of analyzes carried out since the start of the pandemic to 34,590,190.

In relation to the deceased, the province of Buenos Aires reported 6 women and 8 men, CABA 4 women and 5 men, Catamarca one woman and three men, Corrientes one woman and 8 men, Entre Ríos one woman and one man, Jujuy one woman. and one man, La Pampa one woman, Río Negro two women and one man, San Juan one woman, Santa Fe seven women and two men, and Tucumán one woman and four men.
