A Nothing began releasing the beta version of Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 for the Nothing Phone (2)launched in 2023. The device is receiving a series of features, including shared widgets, new lock screen customization page, AI app drawer and more. THE Nothing Phone (1) and other models will also be updated soon.
Nothing Phone (2) receives update with Android 15
On its official forum, the Nothing revealed that users of the Nothing Phone (2) You can now test Nothing OS 3.0 with Android 15. The system’s “Open Beta 1” delivers several new features, including:
- Shared Widgets: use widgets to connect with friends and family. See someone else’s widgets displayed on your home screen and interact with each other through reactions;

Lock Screen: new lock screen customization page;

Smart Drawer: the system uses AI to automatically categorize your apps into folders;

Camera improvements: increased camera startup speed, reduced HDR processing time, and optimized portrait mode effects.
In her post, the Nothing also revealed that the Nothing Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus e CMF Phone 1 will receive this same beta version in December.
