A Zappingknown for its offer of IPTV via streaming, made an important update to its channel grid last Friday (18). The platform changed the channel numbering system and even added a new broadcaster: NSportsa channel dedicated to sports and which is now available to package subscribers Full.
Zapping adds new NSports channel
O NSportswhich began as a streaming platform focused on sports broadcasts, only made the leap to pay TV at the beginning of 2024. The channel differentiates itself by focusing on olympic modalities and sports on the rise in Brazil, such as tennis, volleyball, basketball, futsal, artistic gymnastics, beach tennis e gulf. In addition, it also broadcasts some tournaments soccerincluding the Russian Championshipoffering a varied program for sports lovers.
With the new feature, Zapping also reorganized the numbering of its sports channels. Initially, the new channel was supposed to occupy number 28, but ended up becoming available at number 24. Other channels also underwent changes: the broadcasters ESPN (1, 2, 3 and 6) were relocated from numbers 30, 31, 32 and 33 to 25, 26, 27 and 29, respectively. The channel Our Football went from 25 to 23, and the Zapping Sportsthe operator’s own channel, migrated from 35 to 30. SportTV (1, 2 and 3) e Band Sports remained unchanged.
It is worth remembering that Zapping has become one of the main IPTV services in Brazil. Among its highlights is the Turbo modewhich reduces transmission delay, the codec HEVC which allows lower data consumption, and the function Replaywhich allows you to return to the programming already displayed. Recently the platform also added TV Globo for free in the Lite+ package. The service is available via browser, mobile app and smart TVs.
