The colors should also be different. In addition to black, rumors indicate that it will have options in blue, titanium and even green. It will also maintain certification IP68.

The pen S Pen should remain and the pen compartment will continue to be located on the left side of the phone. The S25 Ultra’s frame, which will likely be made from titaniumwill be narrower than its predecessor, resulting in a slightly more compact device. There are also rumors that the S25 Ultra will use bezels OLED of the M14 generation, which are more efficient and offer greater brightness compared to the M13 panels used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This means the screen can surpass 2,600 nits of brightness already impressive maximum of the S24 Ultra.

Other expected specifications include a rQHD+ solution and a refresh rate variable from 1-120Hzthanks to LTPO technology.

Processor and memories

There is a lot of speculation about which chipset will be used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Some rumors indicate that Samsung may opt for a hybrid approach, using the Exynos 2500 in some regions and the Snapdragon 8 Elite (also called Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) in others. However, there is a very high chance that the S25 Ultra will exclusively adopt the Snapdragon chip in all markets, offering the maximum possible performance.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely have 16GB RAMwith a possible 12GB option for the base model. In terms of storage, options should vary between 256 GB, 512 GB e 1 TB.

Cameras

In terms of camera, the Galaxy S25 Ultra promises to maintain the powerful configuration of its predecessor, but with some improvements. The camera ultrawide will receive a significant upgrade, switching to a 50 MP with 1/2.52″ optical format, f/1.9 aperture and 0.7um pixels.

The battery capacity, it seems, will remain the same as previous models, with a 5.000mAh and support for 45W fast charging.

As for the system, when the Galaxy S25 Ultra is launched, Samsung will have already started releasing Android 15 for some of its devices. In any case, it should be one of the brand’s first releases to come with this version of the system already from the factory. Thus, the platform will be the Android 15 running with the new interface One UI 7.0which promises to be the biggest update ever seen on Samsung’s system.

Samsung has also committed to making One UI simpler, with improvements to the user experience and new Artificial Intelligence tools that should speed up interactions on the device. Another positive point is the extended device support. Samsung must guarantee up to seven years of software updates.

Price

As for the price, estimates suggest that it could be more expensive than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, due to the increase in the cost of the new 3nm chips. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, for example, could cost up to 20% more to produce, which could impact the final price of the device.

For reference, the Galaxy S24 Ultra launched for approximately $1,299. In Brazil, its launch price was R$9,999. There is a small chance that Samsung will maintain this price, but if it needs to increase, the S25 Ultra could follow a price range that exceeds R$10,000.
