Apple is left out of September’s top 3 in Brazil
According to the StatCountera platform that analyzes the market share of different segments, including cell phones, Samsung led the Brazilian market in September, with a percentage rate of 36.72%. In August, the South Korean giant had a similar percentage, with 36.58%.
A Motorola comes in second place com 19.08%which is lower than the 19.98% achieved in August. THE Applewhich was in fourth place in the month of August, fell from 17.84% in August to 17.06% in September.
A Xiaomi is the new third place in the ranking with 17.01%. This number proves growth in Brazil, the largest among the main companies in the Brazilian market, as in August the Chinese company had only 15.03% — an increase of 2.07% in just 30 days.
A LGwhich closed its cell phone division worldwide in 2021, still appears in the ranking, but in sixth place and with only 1.44% of participation across the entire national market. It is worth remembering that Statcounter does not reveal whether these numbers correspond to the volume of devices sold or active model numbers. We believe it is the second option, which is why LG remains in the ranking.
