55 passengers were forgotten to board the plane; DGCA seeks report from Go First Air

New Delhi: DGCA has sought a report from Go First Air regarding the incident of forgetting to board passengers. The flight took off without carrying 55 passengers who boarded the airline bus. The incident took place at the Kempagowda airport in Bengaluru.

Flight G8 116 departed for Delhi without carrying any passengers. Later, 53 of the 55 passengers were taken on another flight and brought to Delhi. Two passengers were refunded.

Many people have complained on social media regarding the incident. Most of the complaints tagged the Prime Minister’s Office and the Aviation Minister. The action of DGCA came following a large number of people came to protest. Then the airline officials expressed their regret for not boarding the passengers.
